About Parent Education

Since 1978, LCPC Parent Education has been helping families thrive by integrating time tested advice and the latest research. Our highly regarded teaching staff has decades of teaching and parenting experience as well as ongoing professional development.
Parent Ed offers a variety of classes for parents and grandparents of children, birth to young adult. The program educates parents in a Christian atmosphere by providing quality education, resources, support, and friendships– many that last a lifetime. The program attracts over 600 participants from a 30-mile radius. As our tagline boasts, “If you have a child or grandchild birth through young adult, we have a class for you!”
Thanks to La Canada Presbyterian Church who created LCPC Parent Education in 1978 and has continued to provide rich support by providing ongoing facilities, the director’s salary, and extensive program and staff resources!

With over 35 years of experience in administration, education, and counseling, I am honored to be part of this very special program that touches so many lives. As a parent of three children, I am thrilled by all the practical resources we offer. My life passion is helping families thrive, and it has been my honor to journey with so many families in Southern California since 1989.
